We have studied and advocated the use of functional medicine, photobiomodulation, and neurofeedback training and provided home-based equipment and remote consultation. Our consultants include internationally recognized, highly-trained professionals drawn from the fields of biofeedback and neuropsychology, neurophysiology, functional medicine, neuropsychiatry, neuroscience research, organizational consulting, and healthcare law.
Our Leadership Team
Marvin Berman, PhD
Dr. Berman is a recognized thought leader in the application of photobiomodulation and EEG biofeedback and related technologies to better understand neurodegenerative, neurodevelopmental and neuropsychiatric disorders.
Dr. Berman consults with academic neuroscience researchers, healthcare providers, and integrative healthcare clinics on the application of photobiomodulation and neurofeedback.
Trent Nichols, MD
Trent W. Nichols, MD, is a Northwestern University Med School grad and Postdoc in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology. His research has involved pharmaceutical clinical trials, nutraceuticals with “Optimal Digestive Health,” a book for the public, and two textbooks.
Nichols joined Quietmind Associates to advance the development of self-administered applications of his pioneering work in noninvasive therapeutics. Dr. Nichols is also the Chief Medical Officer for the International Cancer Association for Education and Research (ICARE).
